Had a wonderful time yesterday with the boys at the NTU Open House 2009! So glad to see the 3 boys again..it's been so long since i last attend their gigs..feel so contend to see them still recognize and remember me..Thank you Sam,Nic and Weiqi! You guys power la!
So enjoying to hear them on stage again..they sang a total of 3 songs. All 3 rockz! Hahas. Jia you MLB!
Get to see Nic twice in a day while others see only once..had a fun guitar lesson with him today..the most fun lesson i had since the day i became his student(previous lessons had fun too. In fact, all lesson with him are fun! Hahas.). Learnt alot of music theories from him. So much to remember but forgot some along the way too(Sorry Nic!). Looks like i gotta prepare a pen to copy down notes the next time(Sorry Nic,i may have to trouble you to give some recap! Paiseh!)! Also, i'm so glad to know that i've move on to another level from his teachings too..hope i didnt dissapoint him. Nic, i will continue to improve! Will do you proud! Wont let you down!
Meet up with some of my basketball frenz for steamboat too..ate till about 11++pm..about to spent the night out celebrating fren belated birthday at Kbox..back out the last min..due to some sch test on monday..kinda sad..but it's ok..can hang out some other time..right buddies? Reach home about midnight++..damn tired..took a shower..catch a soccer match(Arsenal won 4-0!)..nothing left to do..off to my lala land. Nites! Have a nice weekend ahead!
p.s. Applying Basic Theory for driving test tmr..gotta be busy for the rest of the year. Hope everyone goes smooth for the rest of the months in 2009. Take care!

Knew Myself a LiL Better

This post is dedicated to my parents, my mum who loves me dearly, and my dad who believes that I can still make it after countless falls.
Was watching a movie.. when a statement from a conversation hit me hard.
"Life's an Occasion. Rise to it."
It's not that I've not been doing that. Ironically, the issue here is that I've been guilty of standing in applause for it for too long a moment, many a times. People generally worry about money, about bread and butter, but people like me would go hungry for passion and merry making music. Who would be standing upright 10 yrs from now? The grounded people building their careers on generic jobs like accountants, lawyers, engineers.. Or people that Rised up to life and paradigms, living a life of passion and joy which may end overnight?
Maybe it'll not me standing. Maybe I woud end up basking at orchard MRT or do some small run-down pub shows for 50 bucks a night, living off maggi mee to save up to pay the rent and a pack of cigarettes... Bittersweet Smiles on my face. Hidden tears on my pillow that would have dried up by the next morning, leaving nothing but faint marks on that pillow case that would have been unwashed off it's countless tears for god knows since when.
On the bright side... maybe it would be me standing, me leaving a legacy for my kids... that I had made it no matter how hard it took me to get the high ground where I would be standing, that I can have the previledge to say to my son, "Look here, Daddy made it through hardwork and belief son, I know you can live your life to the fullest too, live the dreams you dream, that you can get there. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."
I'm not questioning my beliefs, my passion, my love for life.
I just question My Own End Point after. Which of the 2 above it would be.
Not backing out, no no. NOT. I'll Rise to the Occasion of Life as I've been doing so. May it treat me well, as I'll applaud it the best I can, Smiles and Sweat on my face, Thorns and Tears in my eyes. Yes. I will Continue moving forward.
Are you rising up today? It's not wrong to sit through your entire life. It can be a joy. Such great joy of simplicity and assurance I had when i was a kid, no worries no troubles. But now as this kid within me grows a lil bigger, his visions have grown too. I'ld risk losing that simplistic joy, to gain a joy unspoken of..
Except only by people like who dream my dream.

Learning through experience
Oh my gosh! I'm quite sad now..feel like crying..the guitar string(4th)Teacher Nic changed for me just got snapped recently..the string was like so valuable in my eyes and it just snapped after..1 week?! So sad..there goes the strings that i treasured..Sorry Nic.
Went to Tampines Mall's Yamaha to get a few set of guitar strings and some string winder..ouch! There goes a hole in my pocket. I'm officially declaring broke! haha jokes..spent about 40+ on these things..thou its ex,but i do gain something thru this valuable string!

Most Memorable Day
Went to Dohby Ghaut today for MLB'08 tee booking..I'm so glad to see the 3 boys again! Chat alot with them for the first time ever..especially my teacher! Travel from Lavender(had guitar lesson before that) with him to Dohby Ghaut..running across traffics together,running under the rain together,take the same bus together..I'm so glad to have a great and nice teacher like him! Nic, thanks for everything! Will always remember this moments! Bit tired now..so cant elaborate much what I did for today..anyway,its just a day that is memorable for me..took some photos with the boys too at gathering..will post them soon once I got the time. Gotta shower and sleep..take care peeps! Tata..

Details of the ordering session on 7 feb emailed to all those on our mailing list and those who ordered the first batch of mlb tee. Please note that we will be taking reservations till the midnight of 6 feb, so as to facilitate the estimation of the number of tshirts. Any enquiries can be directed here or email us at milubing.fc@gmail.com .

to clarify some doubts about the ordering for MLB tee;
If you'll be coming down on the 7th Feb for ordering, all you have to do is come down on that day and place your order directly, u don't have to place a reservation with us. You'll need to place a reservation (by midnight on 6th Feb) with us only if you're unable to make it on 7th Feb, so that we can count the orders in and confirm the pricing on that day itself.
Do contact us if you've got any other enquiries.
Apologies for any misunderstandings caused.
